1976 Leather Jean
1976 Leather Jean
In the early 1970s The London Leatherman created the ideal leather jean. The jean not only looks great with it’s straight cut leg, but is crafted in a hide still thick enough to wear whilst riding a motorcycle. Today we call this jean the 1976 Leather Jean as this was the year punk rockers started wearing The London Leatherman jeans, most documented being The Sex Pistols. The 1976 jean is identifiable by the larger than usual metal rivet detailing, jean style pockets and no lining so that the leather sits directly against your skin to mould uniquely to the owners shape.
Crafted using full panels of superior quality black steer hide leather.
The hem of these jeans are left raw for you to roll-up or cut to your desired length. Alternatively, we can hem them for you, just email through your inside-leg measurement to info@prideandclarkelondon.com upon ordering.
